Table Tennis Ireland are delighted to announce we will hold a level coaching course beginning on
Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th June and Sunday 8th September
in Applewood community centre, Swords, Dublin.
This is the highest coaching qualification currently offered for Table Tennis in Ireland.
This Course is suitable for learners who have completed the Level 1 Session Coach qualification and gained experience of table tennis coaching.
Qualified Level 2 Coaches will play an important role in the Player’s Development Pathway at club, provincial and national levels. They could be involved in coaching junior and/or senior players at High Performance standard and progress to be NPCs for provincial or national senior teams.
This Course is suitable for learners who have completed the Level 1 Session Coach qualification and gained experience of table tennis coaching.
Qualified Level 2 Coaches will play an important role in the Player’s Development Pathway at club, provincial and national levels. They could be involved in coaching junior and/or senior players at High Performance standard and progress to be NPCs for provincial or national senior teams.
The course will take place over 3 days and attendance is mandatory on all days to complete the course.
This is a sport Ireland recognised level 2 coaching award.
The cost to attend this course is €315.
This course can only cater for 12 a maximum of 12 participants.
Participants will be registered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Please note course requirements before registration.
Course requirements
Applicants must:
- Be 18+
- Hold a level 1 coaching qualification
- At least 2 years coaching experience as a level 1 coach
- Have Valid Garda Vetting/ Access Ni
- Have Safeguarding 1 Certificate
- Hold Valid first Aid certificate (Sports first aid preferred)
