Supported by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, the event will bring together in team and individual competition the best 48 young table tennis players from primary schools in England, Scotland, Wales, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man and of course Ireland. The Irish Association is delighted to have the support of the City Council with the cost of running the event. Ireland has an excellent level of achievement in this annual Primary Schools Championships having won both the Team and Individual competitions on a number of occasions. Previous recent winners of the Boys and Girls singles events are Belfast starlets, Sophie Earley and Owen Cathcart.
Spectators will be watching closely how this year’s team fare in the competitions. Play will take place on Friday evening, all day on Saturday and Sunday morning. Please click HERE for the schedule of play.
