Celebrating Pride Month with Table Tennis Ireland

This June, Table Tennis Ireland proudly stands with the LGBTQ+ community in celebrating Pride Month—a time to honour diversity, promote inclusion, and reaffirm our commitment to making our sport welcoming for everyone.

Whether you’re a player, coach, volunteer, or supporter, you belong here. We believe that table tennis, like all sports, thrives when everyone feels safe, respected, and valued—regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation, or background.

What does it mean to be an ally? Being an ally means:

– Listening and learning from LGBTQ+ voices

– Speaking up against discrimination

– Creating spaces where everyone can be their authentic selves

– Taking small actions—like sharing your pronouns—to show support

Show your support this Pride Month!
Add a 🌈 Pride flag emoji to your posts, wear your colours proudly, and help us spread the message that inclusivity is always in play.

We will be sharing resources through email and here on the website across the month, as a gentle and informative way to learn more about how we can support inclusion in our clubs, teams, and communities.
