Table Tennis Ireland is inviting applications for a Participation and Inclusion Officer (Ulster) — an exciting opportunity to play a central role in growing the sport and expanding inclusive participation across the province.
As the National Governing Body for table tennis, Table Tennis Ireland is committed to making the sport “a sport for all, a sport for life.” This role will help deliver that vision by developing opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to take part.
About the Role
This part-time position (16 hours per week) will focus on increasing participation across Ulster, particularly among:
- Women and girls
- People with disabilities
- Socially disadvantaged communities
- New and returning players of all ages
The successful candidate will work closely with clubs, schools, councils, and community partners to develop programmes and initiatives that strengthen the table tennis network across the region.
Location: Lisburn Racquets Club
Contract: Fixed term until March 2027 (subject to funding)
Hours: Part-time — 16 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
The Participation & Inclusion Officer will:
- Develop initiatives to increase participation across Ulster
- Deliver inclusive programmes for all abilities
- Support school engagement and competitions
- Build partnerships with clubs, leagues, and local authorities
- Promote activities through communications and social media
- Assist with funding applications and reporting
