The Irish Veteran players put in a fantastic performance last weekend, in Nottingham 5TH – 7TH September.
Top honours go to Rita Kacsandi, who claimed gold in the Over 40s Singles—the only gold medal not won by the host nation. Rita also teamed up with Susan Hanlon and Ruth McGilligan to secure silver in the team event.
The Men’s Over 50s Team finished strong, earning a well-deserved bronze.
In the individual events:
- Daryl Strong took silver in the Over 50s Singles
- Ger Greene and Anne Marie Nugent won silver in the Over 50s Doubles
Bronze medals were also awarded to:
- Ger Greene in the Over 60s Singles
- Philip Shawa and Brian Finn in their respective singles events
