Table Tennis Ireland Hosts Thrilling Two-Day Competition at South Lakes leisure Centre, Craigavon on the 22 and 23rd March 2025
Table Tennis Ireland is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its recent two-day competition held in Craigavon. The event, which took place on March 22-23, showcased some of the finest Irish talents in the sport, with participants from all over the country competing in various categories.
Day 1 Highlights:
Congratulations to Mia O’ Rahilly Egan, our four-time Women’s Singles National Champion! Table tennis is stronger because of women like you all competing today who push boundaries, break barriers, and compete at the highest level. A huge congratulations to Tom Davis, our two-time Men’s Singles National Champion! Defending a title is never easy, an incredible achievement. Niamh Mason and Tom Colvin were our Under 21 champions holding off some tough competition to take the titles. The National Championships delivered an electrifying Para Final, with both players leaving everything on the table! In a match filled with intense rallies and stunning comebacks, the battle for the title came down to the finest of margins with Colin Judge beating Paddy Vaughan in a rematch of last year’s final.
Day 2 Highlights:
The U19s Boys National Championship Final was nothing short of thrilling! Both players showcased incredible skill, speed, and determination, pushing each other to the absolute limit in a thrilling match that had the crowd on the edge of their seats. After an intense back-and-forth battle, Peadar Sheridan emerged victorious, claiming the gold. Under 17s Boys and Girls Finals were both an unforgettable final and finish to the tournament! Huge congratulations to our winners Peadar Sheridan and Grace Looney for intense matches filled with skill, passion, and edge-of-the-seat action!
