Table Tennis Ireland’s Performance Pathway Committee is inviting expressions of interest from individuals who would like to gain hands-on experience supporting the national performance pathway in the volunteer role of Performance Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity to become involved at committee level, contribute to the development of Irish table tennis talent, and gain valuable experience within a national performance structure.
Whether you are an experienced coach or looking to further develop your involvement in high-performance sport, we welcome expressions of interest from individuals with a passion for player development and the future growth of table tennis in Ireland.
What You’ll Be Involved In
As Performance Manager, you will work closely with the Performance Pathway Committee and coaching team to support the ongoing development and delivery of TTI’s performance pathway.
Key areas of involvement include:
- Working alongside the Performance Pathway Committee and coaching team on the delivery of TTI’s performance pathway.
- Supporting the planning and coordination of programmes across the pathway, from junior development through to senior performance.
- Contributing directly to the development of the Performance Pathway Plan over the next six months.
- Gaining first-hand experience of how a national performance programme operates.
What We’re Looking For
We’re keeping the criteria straightforward and accessible. Applicants should have:
- A good working knowledge of table tennis and its players.
- A minimum Level 2 Coaching Qualification.
- An understanding of the Performance Pathway and how athletes progress through it.
Previous committee experience is not required. We are equally interested in the enthusiasm, insights and perspectives that applicants can bring to the role.
