International Women’s week will take place from 4th-10th of March 2024. To celebrate we have two free events planned during the week.
- An Online Communication Skills workshop – This workshop will be delivered by Mr Andy Burke, founder of Blue Vista as the guest speaker to deliver the workshop. Andy is an Executive and Leadership Coach and has been in a range of senior leadership positions in various sports, including Rugby and Judo. This workshop will take place via zoom on the 6th of March from 7-8.30pm and is open to all TTI members (male and female), this workshop will be most suited to coaches, volunteer’s parents and committee members.
2. WIS social table tennis event – This event is for females of all ages and will incorporate the different aspects of Table tennis (playing, coaching and umpiring) and show that there is a role in Table tennis for everyone! The event will allow all participants to play table tennis and pick up some tips, as well as showing participants how they can be involved in other aspects of the sport. The day will be full of interaction and engaging with one another through fun activities and will conclude by helping the participants to organise an in-house tournament. We hope this fun event will not only inspire young females to take part in the sport, but also encourage parents and family members to get involved. This event is Free of Charge and will take place in Loop table tennis club in Raheny, on Sunday the 10th of March from 10-12.30. It is open to females of all ages and they can even bring their family and friends along (males included) if they would like!
