Parkinson’s Bat and Chat🏓
As part of Parkinson’s Awareness Week, we want to share the positive impact of table tennis on people with Parkinson’s
Since February 27th 2024, we have been running the weekly Bat ‘N’ Chat program every Tuesday morning from 11 AM to 12 PM at Lisburn Racquets Club. Participation has risen since then, with carers are also joining.
After the table tennis activities, participants enjoy tea or coffee and a selection of homemade treats, providing an excellent opportunity for social interaction.
Table Tennis Ulster and Ireland are both grateful for the grant from Parkinson’s UK, which enabled the launch of this initial Parkinson’s group.
Please note that our sessions are held every Tuesday at Lisburn Racquets Club 11am-12pm. Contact Pat on 07974 700560 if you would like to start playing 🏓. We will not be playing on Easter Tuesday (22nd April).
