Table Tennis Ireland is inviting all club admins and committee members to a live online webinar ahead of the 2026/27 affiliation season, taking place on Wednesday 8th July at 6pm via Zoom. This webinar is for those that might have missed last weeks session, for those that attended last week there is no need to attend again.
With the affiliation system opening on 1 August, this session is designed to give clubs a clear, practical understanding of what’s needed — and when — so there are no surprises later in the season.
What the webinar will cover
- The affiliation process — a step-by-step walkthrough of what your club needs to do, and the key dates for 2026/27: the system opens on 1 August, TTI reviews club engagement on 31 October, and full compliance and insurance coverage must be confirmed by 30 November.
- The Club Affiliation & Standards Programme — every club starts at Bronze, a low-barrier, affordable entry point that gets your club affiliated, insured, and part of the Table Tennis Ireland community. We’ll explain how Silver builds on that foundation for clubs with junior members or a competitive focus, and how to know which tier is right for you.
- Insurance cover — why affiliation is the foundation of your club’s insurance protection, what’s covered under Table Tennis Ireland’s policy, and what to do if an incident occurs.
- Membership benefits — an overview of what’s included for players, coaches, officials, and volunteers, so your club can make the most of what’s on offer.
This session is for club admins and committee members of all clubs — whether you’re affiliating for the first time or renewing for another season. There will be an opportunity to ask questions throughout.
