Irish National Squads equipment sponsor Butterfly has released its latest newsletter for January 2010, featuring a review of all the successful achievements of the 2009 Butterfly team. Butterfly Europe’s managing director, Yuki Kamizuru, presents his thoughts on the turn of the year. In the column “table tennis basics” Butterfly continue the Richard Prause series on the subject “the service trick with the different ball contact points”. There is also an interview with the Greek national player Panagiotis Gionis, who has pointed out that the number of young players, who show interest in the defensive play, has dropped significantly.
