Following some good wins at the World Team Championships and an excellent performance at the Spanish Youth Open, 17 year old Paul McCreery has been catapulted up the ITTF World Rankings. In today’s latest rankings from the ITTF, McCreery is now at 558 in the Senior Rankings and at 82 in the Under 18 Rankings. Turn back the clock 12 months and the Ulster Junior was just inside the top 1000 in the World – he has made massive progress this year. This will be a timely boost for McCreery as he prepares for the Senior Schools International and the European Youth Championships. His Ulster team-mate Keith Knox also makes a welcome return to the ITTF ranking list, sitting at 903, following a lengthy injury lay-off; he will take lots of confidence from his performances at the World Championships.
