Table Tennis Ireland (TTI) is at a pivotal and exciting stage of its journey. With a strong executive team in place, a new CEO appointed in 2024, and an ambitious six-year strategic plan underway, the organisation is now seeking new volunteer Directors to join its Board and help guide the future of the sport across Ireland.

TTI is the National Governing Body for table tennis on the island of Ireland, representing players, coaches, clubs and volunteers from grassroots to elite international level. Our vision is simple but powerful: “A sport for all, a sport for life.”

Our Board plays a crucial role in setting strategic direction, ensuring strong governance, and supporting the CEO and executive team to deliver real impact. You don’t need to be a table tennis expert — we’re looking for people who believe in the power of sport and can bring their professional expertise to the table.
Skills We’re Seeking
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Finance / Financial Management; Marketing, Commercial or Sponsorship; Governance and Risk Management; HR / People Development. We are also strongly committed to gender balance and particularly welcome applications from female leaders.
What’s Involved?
Up to 8 board meetings per year (largely online). Approx. 2–3 hours per month outside meetings. Voluntary role with reasonable expenses reimbursed. Initial 3-year term, with the option of reappointment.
